1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit our website or use the Hire Nix Application Tracking System. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a secure experience, and supply analytical information to the owners of the site.
We use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience.

Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are essential for the Hire Nix ATS to function securely. They include cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our workspace, utilize the API, and use the billing dashboard via Stripe. The system cannot function without these.
Functional Cookies
These are used to recognize you when you return to our platform. This enables us to personalize our content for you and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language, timezone, or dark/light mode UI settings).
Performance & Analytics Cookies
These allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and see how recruiters move around our platform. This helps us improve the way the ATS works, for example, by ensuring users find what they are looking for easily. We use tools like Google Analytics in a highly restricted, IP-anonymized mode.
Targeting/Marketing Cookies (Website Only)
We only use these cookies on our public marketing website (
hirenix.com), never inside the authenticated ATS portal. These record your visit, the pages you have visited, and the links you have followed to help us make our advertising more relevant.
3. Cookies on Embedded Career Widgets
As an enterprise ATS, we allow our Customers to embed job boards on their own websites using our native Web Components (Shadow DOM).
Candidate Privacy Guarantee
We explicitly design our embedded widgets to be privacy-first. Hire Nix does not inject marketing, targeting, or invasive analytics cookies onto the devices of candidates interacting with a Customer's career page. We only utilize strictly necessary, temporary tokens to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) during the application submission process.
4. How to Manage Your Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our interactive Cookie Consent Banner available in the footer of our marketing website.
Additionally, most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including strictly necessary cookies), you may not be able to access or use the core Hire Nix ATS application.
